Filling PetTest Blood Glucose Test Strips

When Lucy was first diagnosed with canine diabetes and I started testing blood glucose levels I got error readings. What I quickly learned was that I was not filling the test strip enough, I thought I got a good blood sample but I did not. After a little practice and tips on getting a good blood sample I rarely got an error message.

Ever so often we see in our Facebook group this question, “Did I fill the test strip properly?” so today I am going over filling PetTest blood glucose test strips. I tested blood glucose and control solution, as soon as the test strips were filled I used a magnifying glass and took pictures of the filled test strips. I also confirmed this information with PetTest.
