A Note From The Heart
This is not a blog; this is a note from the heart and it certainly isn’t something that PetTest would write or state. This is about my relationship with PetTest and the people that make the company. I want to give you a little history while requesting that we help our PetTest family.
Lucy our dog was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and diabetes in August 2015; she is what started my diabetic dog journey. Lucy was a very laid-back girl, never fought me on anything and was easy to test and inject. I learned all I could and ended up being asked to admin our Facebook group, Diabetic Dog Owners. I was honored to support and guide others like me with diabetic dogs; we are a pretty small community and need to stick together…we are a village!
In 2017 I contacted PetTest regarding a possible discount for the group to help members purchase BG meter kits. I was responded to quickly and was told that they didn’t offer group discounts but if a member needed help I could email PetTest with information and they would help with what they could. This started a relationship with PetTest and since then our relationship has turned into a friendship and these people are my extended family.
This company has helped so many people quietly and without needing a pat on the back or recognition. There are countless times that PetTest has gone above and beyond to help someone and I could give you tons of examples but I will stick with this, they have helped hundreds of members…why? Because PetTest genuinely cares about these diabetic dogs and cats.
When I heard about their warehouse being flooded my heart sank. I knew that business would be halted until they get the warehouse cleaned up. I knew that employees that work at the warehouse suffered personally as well, so much was flooded and destroyed. And I knew that there would be employees from the main office in Florida that would drop everything to go help in Fletcher, North Carolina… there is no way that these people with these big hearts wouldn’t.
So now PetTest needs our help, current orders are pending until they can move into a temporary warehouse. PetTest needs our help so that they can rebuild and support their Fletcher, North Carolina employees. PetTest came up with a great plan. They are offering blocks of store credit at a 5% discount so if you purchase a $100 block of store credit you pay $95. Once PetTest is up and running you can use your store credit.
I am reaching out to all of you to please help PetTest with what you can. These people and this company are close to my heart because of all the good they have done for diabetic dogs and cats, all the support they have given to every single Facebook group related to dog or cat diabetes, the DDO-U and customers.
They sure can use our help now and I know just how much they will appreciate it. Blocks of store credit are in increments of $25, $50 and $100. If you can help please click on the following link:
